Classification:   Exempt Reports To:    Plant Controller Job Description The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for performing all accounting, controlling, reporting and analysis for the Company’s inventory and all related accounts and processes. The position will own Accounting Department’s relationship with IT, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure understanding, expectations and reporting around inventory and all related accounts is aligned. The successful candidate will join a team committed to manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and member development. The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for all activities of product costing, product manufacturing analysis and inventory valuations. Develops costings controls and procedures while maintaining the cost accounting system and reporting.   1. Focus on cost and inventory financial analysis
  2. Interact with Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and IT to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date. Review and audit BOM’s to ensure they reflect the latest manufacturing practices.
  3. Integral part of the transition from current ERP to D365 financial systems.
  4. Drive the enhancement of procedures and controls that ensure meaningful and reliable product costs and accurate inventories.
  5. Develop cost standards for materials and labor.
  6. Perform month-end cost and inventory accounting close, including the posting of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  7. Participate, review, reconcile, research and ensure weekly completion of cycle count process for all materials with the end goal of moving away from quarterly physical inventories.
  8. Prepare weekly inventory reporting to identify variances between our financial and inventory systems.
  9. Responsible for pulling support for all inventory / COGS audit requests (internal and external).
  10. Partner with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Receiving to lead quarterly physical inventories. Responsible for all inventory variance analysis related to physical inventory and the posting of all results to the general ledger.
  11. Understand all plant business processes and the impact on cost reporting. Involved in all accounting decisions related to plant transactions
  12. Research and resolve all general ledger and inventory discrepancies by coordinating with IT, warehouse, and other system owners.
  13. Work with team members to create and continuously improve management reporting and performance metrics. Assist members in understanding how they can affect financial results.
  14. Understand and ensure with SOX controls and narratives as related to Senior Cost Accountant position and responsibilities.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Job Summary: The Credit Assistant & Collection Specialist responsibilities include ensuring Anlin Industries receives payment for goods and services offered and sold to customers.  He or she performs collection calls, background checks on new applications, run credit reports as requested by the Credit Manager, processes credit hold and order releases and other duties determined by the Credit Manager. General Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with dealers regarding past due or coming due account balances to ensure timely payments.
  • Develop effective repayment plans.
  • Notation of customer accounts after contact with that customer.
  • Respond to customer account inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers to aid in timely payments.
  • Run background checks and review potential applications prior to referring to the credit manager for final approval.
  • Prepare daily payments for the posting department.
  • Review and release customer orders from credit hold.
  • Special projects/tasks as may be deemed necessary as needs arise.
Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly skilled in negotiations.
  • Good administrative skills.

Department:              Sales Reports To:                 Reports to the Vice President of Sales Subordinates:              None Position Summary:     Responsible for assertively growing sales and promoting the Anlin brand. Acts as an Anlin business representative for all communication to Anlin dealers. Manages accounts and provides dealer services. Essential Functions Sales

  1. Promotes Anlin products to regional dealer accounts. Achieves maximum sales and increases market penetration of the Anlin brand using the overall strategy of the brand.
  2. Develops sales territory with the right product mix to meet annual strategic goals.
  3. Assesses potential new dealers that can support required sales volume at a proper market price.
  4. Promotes sales growth and business opportunities for all Anlin dealers.
  5. Works with dealers to create annual strategic business plans to maintain proper product mix levels and overall achievement of improving the Anlin-dealer sales objectives.
  6. Develops and implements regional sales plans to achieve or surpass sales goals.
  7. Continuously evaluates all dealer accounts in order to expand and upgrade account base.
  8. Contacts potential dealers/channel partners and identifies new business opportunities.
  9. Effectively develops and plans weekly dealer sales calls – providing up-to-date Qlik reports deemed beneficial to the success of both dealer and Anlin.
  10. Analyzes dealer sales performance and recommends improvements, utilizing Qlik reports.
  11. Works with all dealers within territories to advise them of various products and product solutions.
  Marketing
  1. Provides business counsel and marketing advice to dealers.
  2. Stays current with dealer needs, market trends and competitors.
  3. Develops promotional programs to increase sales and revenue.
  4. Safeguards the Anlin brand by reviewing online reviews/social media and upholding dealers to highest standard of ethics and commitment to service.
  5. Collaborates/partners with the Marketing Manager to coordinate Anlin’s MARCOMM and Offer-Management activities and objectives/goals for effectively achieving targets in all areas.
  6. Manage, approve and submit sample and literature requests for dealer accounts within territory.
  7. Promotes Anlin products through sales aids and miscellaneous items.
  8. Manages expense accounts for literature, samples, wearables, communications and travel/entertainment to budgeted levels.
  Technical Support
  1. Literate using a computer, tablets, mobile devices and learns new software programs.
  2. Ability to operate, transfer, share all electronic forms, documents and presentations provided to dealers (product order forms, price books, premium features, etc.) as well as instruct and answer questions regarding electronic documents.
  3. Maintain a personal library of all updated electronic forms, documents and presentations.
  4. Ability to use and train proper use of E-Status – electronic order status information system.
  Executive Support
  1. Advises the RSM and VP of Sales of all major market developments in their region that affect sales and/or personnel.
  2. Submits all reports required by the RSM and VP of Sales in a timely manner.
  3. Assists and implements an annual sales and expense budget for assigned region(s).
  4. Attends and participate in sales meetings with an open and innovative demeanor; strives to continually improve the Organization’s success.
  Management
  1. Assesses new potential dealers through the Dealer Acquisition Process and provides direct leadership from initial request to do business through dealer development for the following system:
    1. Identify Potential New Dealers
    2. Investigate for “Sales Channel Partnership”
    3. Dealer Competency Assessment: Market, Price, Product, Competition, Promo, Consumer Focus, etc.
    4. Approval & Feedback from Anlin Management

    7. Dealer Performance Appraisal: Quarterly and Annually
    8. Growth Plan and Adherence
  2. Works with dealers to recruit, train and motivate dealers and salesforce through facilitating educational/training and on-the-jobs sessions in the following area:
    1. Lead generation and management that fulfills loading the dealer sales funnel with opportunities.
    2. Assists in hiring “A” player sales personnel into primary and secondary markets.
    3. Assists in developing “B” player sales personnel into “A” player sales personnel through development growth plans.
    4. Assists dealers in interviewing process to help them identify “A” player sales personnel.
    5. Assists in performing RACI assessment to determine appropriate sales organizational structure for goal and growth attainment. (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed—RACI)
  3. Works with dealers in the selection, on-boarding and training of new sales personnel regarding Anlin products.
  4. Assists dealers’ salesforce in securing new and repeat business through assessing sales personnel knowledge, skill and attitude to properly present and sell the Anlin brand and internal workings of Anlin’s operations.
  5. Communicates Anlin’s strategic objectives in meeting commitments and works within guidelines and the Anlin Vision and Mission.
  6. Communicates dealer roles and responsibilities as channel partners as it relates to promoting and selling Anlin products to fulfill Anlin’s vision and mission.
  7. Acts as a consultant for determining dealer needs based on dealer’s business goals and customer requirements and demonstrates the flexibility to successfully adjust solutions being proposed.
  8. Follows-up with dealer accounts on product positioning, performance and other dealer service issues.
  9. Supports the order fulfillment process by working with inside sales representatives, production personnel, dealer services, credit and delivery.
  10. Reflects Anlin’s business values and philosophy in all business interactions.
  11. Works with a sense of urgency and self-motivated/directed, and works independently with little supervision.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
  1. Minimum of five (5) years experience in outside sales.
  2. Building industry knowledge preferred
  3. Experience working with dealer channel preferred.
  4. High School Diploma or equivalent.
